How long and how high is the Niagara Falls zipline?
The line runs 670 metres (about 2,200 feet) down the Niagara River Gorge, 67 metres above the water, past the American Falls to an observation landing deck near the foot of the Horseshoe Falls. A van brings you back up to the start. Allow about 90 minutes in all, with check-in, the safety briefing and the shuttle; the ride itself is the short part.
How much is the zipline to the falls?
This ticket started at US$69 a person when we checked in April 2026, with free cancellation. It includes the helmet, a comfort harness with a storage pouch, the safety instructions and the shuttle back from the landing. Souvenir photos and videos are sold separately at the end. An early-bird zipline ticket for the first rides of the day is also sold, from US$60.
What are the age and weight limits?
Riders must be at least 7 years old and weigh no more than 275 lb (124 kg). It is not suitable for pregnant women.
Where is the zipline?
At the bottom of Clifton Hill, 5920 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, Ontario, beside the Niagara City Cruises ticket plaza. Fill in the waiver online before you arrive and you can go straight to the check-in kiosk with express admission.
Is the Niagara Falls zipline scary?
Less than it looks. You ride seated in a harness, hands free, and reviewers who called themselves nervous of heights describe a “pleasant controlled ride down” that was slower than they expected. The view of the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls ahead of you is the reason to do it.
When should I go?
From June to August, come before 11 am or after 4 pm to avoid the crowds. Rides run in favourable weather only, and WildPlay, which runs the zipline, confirms your exact time slot by email after booking; it may differ from the time you asked for. Arrive late and the no-show rule applies. Coming from the United States, bring your passport.
Is it worth it?
If you want a few minutes of speed with the falls in front of you, yes; one September 2025 reviewer called it “kind of pricey for the length, but definitely worth the experience”.
